Ways to assign:
- Each day, as a class, complete one new person + show YouTube video on the board. Give students printable to complete while watching the movie + complete additional research as needed
- Each day, assign students with a new partner/group and assign them an individual to learn about together. When they're done, have them share their findings with the class.
- Each day, give students 15-20 minutes to choose a new person from the slides, read the mini-bio, watch the designated YouTube clip, and complete the printable to learn about the person of their choice
- You could also just complete as you have time using the strategies above instead of every day if time won't allow!
Please Read: These slides and printable activities are NOT editable! Some topics may touch on "mature topics" such as LGBTQ+, gun violence, government corruption, as we celebrate the bravery of these individuals, uplift their stories, and share their experiences.
