We are winding down in the year and I just have to get out and enjoy some sunshine. This activity will take 1-2 class periods to complete (depending on your class length) and includes:
pre-flying slides to complete
tasks for each group member
chart and notes section for the group scribe
time outside to fly a kite
post-flying discussion question with real world connections
a writing reflection
audio directions to be played
options for students to make their own kite with supplies or use store bought kites
 
Directions are also embedded on all necessary slides where I read to students, and they simply have to clikc "play" to listen along!
