How Daily Agenda Slides Templates Changed My Teacher Life

Let me ask you a question. At some point this year, did you go into Target or Tj Maxx and buy a planner?

You probably thought to yourself :“Today is the day I will get my life together.”

Then the planner just sits there, you find it a few years later and then feel kinda shitty the rest of the day. Honestly no shame because it's a common experience.

So let me introduce you to the wonderful world of daily agendas – the magical tool that can transform your life. If you're tired of feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list, or if you simply want to supercharge your productivity while maintaining your sanity, then go find that planner I know is sitting somewhere.

Picture this: You wake up, feeling a sense of purpose and direction. Your mind is clear, and you know precisely what needs to be accomplished today. And I am not talking about 15 page lesson plans-- I'm talking about the beauty of having a daily agenda! It's like having a trusty roadmap to guide you through the day's journey. Say goodbye to wandering aimlessly through your tasks and hello to being a productivity powerhouse!

Point and Go

Tired of students saying, "What are we doing today?" OMG, same. Well since I am in the business of keepin' it real-- having those daily agenda slides up will not completely eliminate the problem. They're still going to ask you that. But, you can get into the habit of saying "it's on the board" or "look at the board." In due time, after you've said it enough, the students will start policing for you and will be eager to yell at a classmate that it's right in front of them as soon as they walk in, every single day. You can also share these on your LMS (Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas) so student have access to them and send them home in a weekly email to parents if you're really feeling zesty!

Less Stress, More Zen

We get it; life (especially for teachers) can sometimes be overwhelming. The never-ending to-do list, the constant juggling of responsibilities – it can all take a toll on our mental well-being. But fear not! With a daily agenda slides, you can leave that stress at the door. By planning your day with students in advance (especially when you know it's a loose outline and not a firm must), you create space for calmness and serenity. And let's face it, a little extra zen never hurt anyone!.

Small Steps, Big Wins:

Teachers know what the end goal is for a lesson or unit. Breaking down those huge chunks into small and digestable tasks, lessons, and activities though agenda template planning will help you and goals are often accomplished through consistent, small steps. A daily agenda breaks down those big aspirations into manageable tasks rather than a long Google Doc to-do list.

Flexibility: The Spice of Life

Now, your agenda does not have to be set in stone. Life loves to throw us curveballs, and that's where the beauty of flexibility comes into play. Embrace the twists and turns, adjust your plan when needed, and stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. Daily agenda slides will give you and your students a solid outline of whats to come, but you'll move forward with a dash of adaptability as needed.

Now if you need some free agenda slides, baby boo, then here you are. This link will take you to an entire free portal that has access to all of my agenda templates that you can use for all season, holiday, and seasonally!

If there's one thing I want to do for teachers, it's help them eliminate any stress possible and I know this was the biggest game changer for me and my ADHD brain!

XoXo.

Love, Hugs, and Lots of Kisses.

Cheers, Ty Tiger | Kinda Sorta Teacher
